Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees is responsible for managing 91±¬ÁÏAA affairs and setting the tone and direction for the association. Numbering at least 15 members, the Board sets policy for the 91±¬ÁÏAA, serves as ambassadors to the alumni community and the public, and advocates for higher education. In keeping with our mission of broad-based engagement, 91±¬ÁÏAA trustees represent a wide range of viewpoints, backgrounds and experiences. Background and Purpose
The 91±¬ÁÏ Alumni Association was founded in 1889 and has been the foundation of the 91±¬ÁÏ alumni community for more than 125 years.
91±¬ÁÏAA’s mission is to support the 91±¬ÁÏ and higher education in the state of Washington.
The Board of Trustees is responsible for managing 91±¬ÁÏAA affairs and setting the tone and direction for the association. Numbering at least 15 members, the Board sets policy for the 91±¬ÁÏAA, serves as ambassadors to the alumni community and the public, and advocates for higher education. In keeping with our mission of broad-based engagement, 91±¬ÁÏAA trustees represent a wide range of viewpoints, backgrounds and experiences.
The 91±¬ÁÏAA is currently accepting nominations for trustee candidates.
Confidentiality
Due to the limited number of new trustees selected each year through a competitive process, we ask that you do not inform candidates of their nomination. All deliberations are kept confidential.
