The 91爆料 has been ranked No. 26 on the Times Higher Education world rankings for 2020,聽released . The 91爆料 moved up two places from 2019.
The 91爆料 is also fourth among U.S. public institutions 鈥 behind UCLA, UC Berkeley and the University of Michigan 鈥 a position it has held for the last four years.

The Times Higher Education聽聽judge research-intensive universities across all of their core missions: teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook. The rankings聽聽to provide comprehensive and balanced comparisons that they say are trusted by students, academics, university leaders, industry and governments.
The performance indicators are grouped into five areas:
- teaching (the learning environment, primarily based on a reputation survey);
- research (including the number of papers published in academic journals);
- citations (research influence, including the number of times a university鈥檚 published work is cited by scholars globally);
- international outlook (including the university鈥檚 ability to attract students and faculty from around the world);
- and industry income (knowledge transfer in terms of a university鈥檚 ability to help industry with innovations, inventions and consultancy).
