To compile the list, The Wall Street Journal said it looked at the nation鈥檚 top 250 schools, as rated by the newspaper, and divided the rating by the average net price 鈥� including tuition, fees, room and board 鈥� for students who receive federal or institutional aid. Only Berea College in Kentucky and University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, rank higher on The Journal鈥檚 value list.
