Carving Demonstrations with artist David Boxley
11 a.m.-2 p.m., May 3 | Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture
Meet Boxley, Alaskan Tsimshian artist, and talk to him about his work. He will be doing carving demonstrations in the galleries and talking to visitors about the tools he uses to create his pieces. In addition to carving, Boxley will have tools and finished pieces on display during this special, one-day program. .
