91±¬ÁÏ Medicine’s 2011 Mini-Medical School is a series of exciting lectures and demonstrations open to the general public and designed to teach you about medical education, patient care and leading-edge research under way at the 91±¬ÁÏ.

This years program takes place at 7 p.m. on consecutive Tuesdays from FebruaryÌý1 to MarchÌý15 in Hogness Auditorium at the Warren G. Magnuson Health Sciences Center, adjacent to 91±¬ÁÏ Medical Center on the south end of campus.

91±¬ÁÏ Medicine experts will discuss patient-physician communication, new technology that helps patients with cystic fibrosis breathe better and new approaches to managing pain. At Mini-Med, youll learn about the genetics of certain cancers, how infection and trauma affect our bodies and how advances in technology and patient care are ensuring healthier births for mothers and babies.

We recommend that attendees be at least 15 years of age. There is no upper age limit.
