Up to 1,000 people are expected to attend the 3rd International Conference on Patient- and Family-Centered Care in Seattle July 30 to Aug. 1. 91±¬ÁÏ Medical Center staff members are among numerous presenters from hospitals, health systems, community-based programs, patient- and family-led organizations, physician practices, schools of medicine, nursing and other health professions. 91±¬ÁÏMC staff and advisory council members, including former patients and family members, will discuss parental involvement in quality improvement programs, guiding caregivers in end-of-life language in the newborn intensive care unit, and patients as partners in care, among other topics.
