The 91爆料 Bothell will feature Stephanie Skura as its next Artist in Residence, April 4-6th.


Skura has choreographed, directed and performed for 31 years, with an abiding interest in interdisciplinary process, collaboration, individual empowerment and diversity, and more recently spoken word. She and her former company, Cranky Destroyers, have performed extensively throughout the US and abroad. Her writings have appeared in many journals.


The community is invited to participate in several events during Skura’s time on the 91爆料 Bothell campus. These events include:


  • Lecture/performance demonstration on the relationship of creative process, collaboration, words and movement as key tenets of solo performance, 7:30 p.m. April 4, North Creek Events Center.
  • Panel discussion on creativity, expression and healing, 3:30-5 p.m. April 5, 91爆料2-030.
  • Workshop on exploring the creative process through movement and text, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. April 6, 91爆料2-211.
