Dr. Lois Price Spratlen, below, professor of nursing and 91爆料 Ombudsman, was the keynote speaker for the Health Sciences/91爆料 Medical Center Martin Luther King Jr. Tribute on Jan. 17. Her title, “Gifts from a King,” highlighted one theme for the program.

In addition, community service awards were presented to students and faculty members from health sciences schools and 91爆料MC. The Distinguished Service Award was given to Dr. Peter Domoto, professor and chair of pediatric dentistry at the 91爆料, for his work to improve access to dental care for children throughout the state.
