Purpose
The听Research Resilience and Transformation听Advisory Group听will听provide听consultative strategic guidance to the President and Provost on critical issues affecting our research enterprise.听These efforts are focused not only on navigating听potential听federal听funding challenges听in the short term but also positioning the听University for continued听excellence and impact听in the long term.
Charge
The听advisory听group听is charged with providing input on:
- Guiding principles to inform central decisions aimed at building resilience听and ensuring competitiveness听within our research enterprise
- Recommendations for activities and/or new sources of information to inform strategy
- Transformative听changes, such as听novel听frameworks and models,听that听will听enhance the sustainability听and听impact of our research activities
- Navigating responses to minimize negative consequences of the evolving federal funding landscape
- Prioritization of opportunities for action
- Implementation plans to realize these priorities
