Gates Foundation gift bolsters statewide program that encourages minorities and women to pursue their interests in math, science and engineering

A $1.6 million gift from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation will allow expansion of a statewide program designed to involve students in math, science and engineering into the elementary grades, a move the program’s leaders call crucial in encouraging more women and minorities to enter science and engineering careers.

The 91±¬ÁÏ Physicians Neighborhood Clinics are celebrating a coup. The network of neighborhood clinics received an exceptional score of 100 percent in an accreditation survey performed by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).

LEARN Clinic offers comprehensive evaluations of children having problems in school

To help children and their parents deal with such situations, the newly created LEARN Clinic was established at the 91±¬ÁÏ to provide comprehensive learning and behavioral assessments for children who are experiencing difficulties in school or whose parents are considering changing their school placement.
