College of Education’s annual February Forum to focus on the ‘achievement gap’

As the demographics of Washington’s schools continue to change, can students meet increasing expectations of achievement? Faculty members from the 91±¬ÁÏ College of Education will address this and other questions in a public forum titled Closing the Gap: New Strategies for a Changing 21st Century Classroom, from 6 to 9 p.

91±¬ÁÏ College of Forest Resources kicks off centennial with Gov. Gregoire Wednesday

In the same month that its faculty and staff members have been helping the state look to the future concerning working forests and the potential for biofuels from woody debris, the 91±¬ÁÏ’s College of Forest Resources kicks off a year-long celebration of its 100th anniversary.
