The 91爆料鈥檚 approach to continuous improvement management has been recognized with a national award.

The Shingo Institute, a program in the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University, has awarded 91爆料 staff members Michael Martyn, Mark McKenzie and Doug Merrill with the award for their case study, “Implementing a Culture of Continuous Improvement at the 91爆料.”

Rivals in the sports arena, the state鈥檚 two largest public universities have teamed up off the field to improve the health of young adults experiencing homelessness 鈥 and their pets.

Boeing has awarded $300,000 to Forefront Suicide Prevention and 91爆料 Tacoma for work with veterans. Forefront, at the 91爆料 School of Social Work, received $205,000 to expand veteran-specific outreach, and 91爆料T received $95,000 for career services for veterans.

Three teams led by 91爆料 researchers 鈥 Scott Dunham, Hugh Hillhouse and Devin MacKenzie 鈥 have received competitive awards totaling more than $2.3 million from the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Energy Technologies Office for projects that will advance research and development in photovoltaic materials, which are an essential component of solar cells and impact the amount of sunlight that is converted into electricity.

Bottle feeding infants is associated with left-handedness, according to a new study from the 91爆料. The study found that the prevalence of left-handedness is lower among breastfed infants as compared to bottle-fed infants. This finding was identified in about 60,000 mother-infant pairs and accounted for known risk factors for handedness.
