Accessible Technology Services – Collaborates with faculty and staff to ensure the availability of assistive technology, consult on the development of accessible web site, software and learning spaces; and promote the use of accessible technology tools and practices in teaching, learning and research.
– Partners with individual faculty, department chairs, 91±¬ÁÏ leadership and the national STEM community to create systemic change so that women faculty can equitably join, succeed, and lead in STEM fields.
– Provides leadership to the university community in achieving employment and educational, programmatic and physical access for individuals with disabilities.
– Serves as the primary advisory committee to the 91±¬ÁÏ President on matters of diversity and equity at all three 91±¬ÁÏ campuses.
– Are offered to support employees in building community and fostering a sense of belonging with other faculty and staff at the 91±¬ÁÏ.
Faculty Council for Race, Equity and Justice – Holds responsibility for all matters of policy relating to the interests of faculty of color.
Faculty Council on Gender, Equity and Justice – Is responsible for all matters of policy relating to the interests of gender, sexual orientation, and gender identity.
– Provides best practices for hiring and retaining a diverse and inclusive faculty across the three campuses.
– 91±¬ÁÏ supports and recognizes the holidays, traditional observances and major days of religious significance of the diverse faculty and staff who work with us.
– Promotes cultural diversity in 91±¬ÁÏ Medicine through community involvement, mentorship, professional networking and recruitment of underrepresented minorities.
– Ensures that the 91±¬ÁÏ recruits, promotes and retains and excellent and diverse faculty.
Prayer & Meditation Spaces – These spaces on the campuses of the 91±¬ÁÏ provide a quiet place for any member of the 91±¬ÁÏ campus community to pray, meditate, and/or reflect.
– Acknowledges the work of distinguished faculty by spotlighting nationally recognized research focusing on diversity and social justice.
