Key Accomplishments
- Launched multiple planning cohorts across all three campuses with more than 50 total participants.
- Conducted kickoff meetings for 23 departments to introduce continuity concepts and the planning framework to leaders.
- Increased the number of Husky Ready plans in active development to over 50.
- Leveraged the BARC Teams channel to provide real world case studies in continuity and access to planning resources.
- Received the President’s approval of – a major revision to the 91±¬ÁÏ’s business continuity policy.

Departments and programs in Seattle, Bothell and Tacoma begin their planning process
A record number of 91±¬ÁÏ schools, departments and programs started the continuity planning process in 2025 to reduce the impact of disruptions, including:

91±¬ÁÏ Bothell cohort develops continuity plans

The 91±¬ÁÏ Bothell Division of Academic Affairs began working together as a planning cohort in fall 2025 and is making great progress on completing Husky Ready plans.

Capturing lessons learned
BARC worked closely with 91±¬ÁÏEM to develop a standardized after-action report form (AAR). The new form will be available to all 91±¬ÁÏ units to capture lessons from incidents or disruptions to expected activities or operations. Look for more information soon on the 91±¬ÁÏEM website.
