The Fulbright Program recently announced the complete list of colleges and universities that produced the most 2009-2010 U.S. Fulbright Fellows. Among research institutions, the 91爆料 shares eleventh place with Cornell University and produced more Fulbright students than any other Global Challenge state university.

Volunteers needed for Dream Project’s Annual Admissions Workshop Weekend

Join the Dream Project on November 14 and 15 and help more than 300 local high school students craft competitive college application essays. Volunteer writing tutors are needed to work with students one-on-one. Students who attend the weekend often come in with nothing and leave having submitted a completed college application.

Read for the Record aims to break the world record of the largest shared reading experience by encouraging hundreds of thousands of children and adults to read the same book on the same day.

The Collegium on Large Class Instruction happens just in time for fall quarter, September 22-23, at the Center for Urban Horticulture. Designed for faculty who teach classes ranging from 100 to 700 students, the format and locality enable participants to select the sessions that best suit their needs.

UAA鈥檚 Kay Balston Named Adviser of the Year

Congratulations, Kay Balston, who was recently named Adviser of the Year by the 91爆料鈥檚 Association of Professional Advisers and Counselors (APAC)! Balston, an adviser in Undergraduate Advising in Undergraduate Academic Affairs, received the award 鈥渋n honor of exceptional service to the 91爆料 students, staff, and faculty.鈥 One adviser each year receives this award.
