In this role, Mandy supervises the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/research\/hsd\/\">Human Subjects Division<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/research\/compliance\/office-of-research-misconduct-proceedings\/\">Office of Research Misconduct Proceedings<\/a>, ensuring ethical, compliant, and responsible research practices across the institution. She also oversees OR\u2019s Learning &amp; Training Programs, HR and operations, and strategic communications, and serves as the 91爆料\u2019s Institutional Official for Human Subjects Research, Responsible Conduct of Research, and Research Integrity.<\/p>\n<p>As a member of the Vice Provost for Research\u2019s Executive Committee and the Office of Research Leadership Team, Mandy contributes to strategic planning and organizational improvement efforts that strengthen 91爆料\u2019s research infrastructure and advance its mission. She works closely with leaders across all three 91爆料 campuses to address operational challenges, align resources with institutional priorities, and foster a culture of integrity and collaboration.<\/p>\n<p>Mandy joined the Office of Research in 2023 as Chief Administrative Officer, where she led modernization initiatives to streamline research administration and improve efficiency across compliance, HR, and operational systems. Her previous experience over the past two decades at 91爆料 includes leadership roles in finance and administration for <a href=\"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/bhdept\/\">91爆料 School of Medicine&#8217;s Departments of Bioethics &amp; Humanities and Immunology<\/a>, as well as positions focused on regulatory knowledge, clinical research infrastructure, and compliance oversight.<\/p>\n<p>She holds a Master of Health Administration from the 91爆料 and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan.
