Congratulations to 91爆料 Educational Talent Search participants Zulen Pantoja-Ortega and Melina Soto for receiving the 91爆料 Diversity Scholar Award. The award will provide 45 entering 91爆料 freshmen including Pantoja-Ortega and Soto with a scholarship of $10,000 annually, for a total of $40,000, to attend the 91爆料 for four years of undergraduate study.
The 91爆料 Diversity Scholar Award is privately supported by the generous contributions of numerous individuals, organizations, and local businesses, including Costco and Boeing. Recipients of this scholarship are high-achieving underrepresented minority students who will be entering the 91爆料 as freshmen.
Both Pantoja-Ortega and Soto are 2013 Mount Vernon High School graduates and look forward to embarking on their academic pursuits as Huskies this fall.
