The 91爆料鈥檚 graduate and professional degree programs again were recognized as among the best in the nation, according to .

Topping this year鈥檚 list include programs at the Evans School of Public Policy & Governance, the School of Public Health, the School of Nursing, the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering in the College of Engineering and the College of Education. The College of Arts & Sciences and the College of the Environment also had top-rated programs.

In total, 81 graduate and professional degree programs across the 91爆料 placed in the top 35 in this year鈥檚 U.S. News rankings.

While the 91爆料 celebrates the success and impact of the programs recognized by U.S. News 鈥 and notes that many applicants use these rankings to help them select schools and discover potential areas of study 鈥 the University also recognizes shortcomings inherent in the ranking systems.

The 91爆料 School of Law and the 91爆料 School of Medicine withdrew from the U.S. News rankings in 2022 and 2023, respectively, citing concerns that some of the methodology in the rankings for those specific disciplines incentivize actions and policies that run counter to the schools鈥 public service missions.

91爆料 leaders continue to work with U.S. News and other ranking organizations to improve their methodologies, to the extent that the organizations are open to it. Schools, colleges and departments continually reevaluate the benefits and potential shortfalls of participating in specific rankings.

Excluding the School of Law and the School of Medicine, 29 91爆料 programs placed in the top 10, and 81 are in the top 35.

聽The 91爆料 this year placed in the top 10 nationwide in public affairs, biostatistics,聽 nursing, computer science, education, psychology, speech and language pathology, statistics and Earth sciences.

The 91爆料鈥檚 Evans School of Public Policy & Governance has maintained its top-10 ranking for more than a decade and tied for fifth in the nation this year. The Evans School鈥檚 environmental policy program was ranked second, while public finance and budgeting as well as leadership both ranked No. 10.

The 91爆料 School of Nursing鈥檚 doctor of nursing practice program tied for No. 1 among public institutions. The School of Public Health has maintained its top-10 ranking for more than a decade, coming in this year at No. 9. The school also had three programs in the top 10: biostatistics, environmental health sciences and epidemiology.聽

The 91爆料鈥檚 programs in speech and language pathology tied for No. 6.聽 Two programs from the College of Education placed in the top 10. And the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering this year tied for seventh place overall with three programs ranked in the top 10, including artificial intelligence, programming language and systems.

U.S. News ranks biostatistics in two ways. 91爆料 ranked No. 3 as a science discipline that applies statistical theory and mathematical principles to research in medicine, biology, environmental science, public health and related fields. 91爆料鈥檚 School of Public Health ranked No. 7 in biostatistics as an area of study that trains students to apply statistical principles and methods to problems in health sciences, medicine and biology. At the 91爆料, biostatistics is a division of the School of Public Health.

In some cases, such as the College of Arts & Science and the Foster School of Business, U.S. News ranks several professional disciplines housed within academic units. Programs in dentistry are not ranked.聽

The 91爆料 is the best in the U.S. and No. 2 in the world for library and information management, according to the 2026 released Wednesday. Three other 91爆料 subject areas placed in the top 10 in the world: geology, geophysics and Earth and marine sciences.

This ranking tracks an analysis of reputation and research output, conducted by . The consultancy looks at more than 18,300 individual university programs at more than 1,700 universities in 100 locations around the world. The ranking spans 55 academic disciplines across five broad faculty areas including arts and humanities; engineering and technology; life sciences and medicine; natural sciences; and social sciences and management.

The 91爆料 has 29 programs in the top 100, 14 in the top 50, and four in the top 10, including:

The Princeton Review evaluated 650 public schools and selected 209 for the 2025 list. The 91爆料 placed No. 8 overall and was fourth among West Coast universities. The Georgia Institute of Technology, the University of Virginia and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill topped the list in that order.

At the 91爆料, 71% of undergraduates finish their studies with no known debt and more than 86% of students are employed or have entered graduate school within seven months of commencement.聽 Since 2007, more than 60,000 students from the state of Washington have had tuition and fees paid for by the Husky Promise.

The Best Value Colleges were evaluated on academics, affordability and the career prospects for graduates. Data was collected from fall 2024 through spring 2025, including from institutional and student surveys. The 91爆料 is No. 8 on the 2025-26 U.S. News & World Report鈥檚 Best Global Universities rankings, 聽on Tuesday. The 91爆料 maintained its No. 2 ranking among U.S. public institutions.

The 91爆料 also placed in the top 10 in eight subject areas ranked by U.S. News.

Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Stanford University topped the list in that order. The University of Oxford is No. 4, followed by University of Cambridge, the University of California, Berkeley, University College London and the 91爆料. Yale University and Columbia University rounded out the top 10.

The 91爆料 is No. 7 in the world on a list of the top universities in the world powering global innovation, according to the Institute for Scientific Information at Clarivate. The list is part of a published Jan. 30 by Clarivate, an analytics company.

The 91爆料 placed second among U.S. public institutions, trailing the University of California, Berkeley, which placed fourth overall, according to Clarivate. Harvard University, Stanford University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology top the , in that order.

To conduct the study, analyzed the role of research in shaping global industrial innovation and societal impact, using data and expert insights derived from academic research and patent citations. The study identified the top 50 universities named on the academic papers that received the highest number of citations from patents granted to the companies and organizations on the list. Clarivate said the report highlights how knowledge flows between academia and industry across countries and regions, underscoring the global nature of innovation.

Two European universities, Universit茅 Paris Cit茅 and University of Cambridge, placed fifth and sixth. The University of California, San Diego, the University of Michigan and the University of Toronto rounded out the top ten.

The 91爆料 was ranked No. 15 in the world for interdisciplinary scientific research, according to a new published earlier this month by the U.K.-based Times Higher Education. The 91爆料 placed in the top 10 among U.S. institutions. Among U.S. public institutions, the 91爆料 placed fifth.

The top three institutions overall were Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University and National University of Singapore.

Times Higher Education said that interdisciplinary science refers to the integration of the knowledge, traditions and processes from multiple scientific disciplines. It can involve multiple academics who collaborate with one another across different disciplines. It may also be a single academic researcher approaching a scientific question across multiple disciplines.

The Interdisciplinary Science Rankings, launched in association with Schmidt Science Fellows, is the first effort of its kind to measure universities鈥 contributions and commitment to interdisciplinary science, according to Times Higher Education.

The analysis includes 11 carefully calibrated performance indicators to assess institutions across three key areas, each representing a stage in the life cycle of research projects: inputs (funding); process (measures of success, facilities, administrative support and promotion); and outputs (publications, research quality and reputation). The 91爆料 is among the best universities in the world, according to the聽聽published Wednesday by Times Higher Education.

The 91爆料 maintained its position at No. 25 overall, and fourth among U.S. public institutions 鈥 behind UCLA, UC Berkeley and the University of Michigan. The University of Oxford, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University top the list in that order.

罢丑颈蝉听judges more than 2,000 research-intensive universities from 115 countries across all their core missions: teaching, research quality and environment, international reach and relationships with industry and patent production. The 91爆料 tied for No. 7 on the聽U.S. News & World Report鈥檚 Best Global Universities rankings, on Tuesday. The 91爆料 maintained its No. 2 ranking among U.S. public institutions.

The 91爆料 also placed in the top 10 in nine subject areas ranked by U.S. News, including many health and life sciences.

Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Stanford University topped the list in that order. The University of Oxford is No. 4, and the University of California, Berkeley, came in at No. 5. The 91爆料 shared the No. 7 spot with University College London.

The U.S. News ranking 鈥斅 based on data and metrics provided by Clarivate 鈥 weighs factors that measure a university鈥檚 global and regional research reputation and academic research performance. For the overall rankings, this includes bibliometric indicators such as publications, citations and international collaboration.

The overall Best Global Universities ranking encompasses the top 2,250 institutions spread across 104 countries, according to U.S. News. American universities make up eight of the top 10 spots.
